Authority over all county drains in DeKalb County consisting of 650 regulated drains with about 1,600 miles of tile and open drains.

Requirements:

No construction work should be done on a regulated drain without the prior consent of the DeKalb County Surveyor or the Drainage Board.
bullet
No permanent improvement shall be placed within the statutory right of a regulated drain without the prior written approval from the drainage board.

The DeKalb County Drainage Board meets every Thursday, at 8:30 AM, in the Commissioner's Court, Second Floor, DeKalb County Courthouse,  100 South Main Street, Auburn, Indiana  46706.
